Have you tried fishing up in the river. I think it is called noeh's dock. Up around the cumberland river, lake cumberland and mouth of laurel river meet.

    Default Noah's Dock

Just to help clarify, the area is called Noah's Dock and it's actually just a blacktop ramp, this is located in McCreary County and it's directly across from the confluence of laurel river and cumberland river. This is accessed via hwy 896 from st hwy 90. There is also a paved ramp across the river on the Whitley/Laurel county side. This is accessed via 1277 from st hwy 25 in corbin area. Very good place to crappie fish. Water level is critical tho....might be good idea to make a dry run to the ramp just to make sure you can put in.

PS: The paved ramp on the Whitley/Laurel Co side is called: Little Marina Just no marina there!!! Used to be a few years ago.
