Default Crappie Fishing Has BUSTED Loose in West Texas

Crappie are on an aggressive bite in several lakes I fishing this week. Today at Lake Brady they were after the Bass Lures. Crappie jigs killed them. They are trying to hit the banks because of an extended warm spell. Skinny water plus cattails are the keys. In addition, caught big females at Lake Stamford and Lake Hubbard Creek. Afternoon bite is the best as the mornings are still cool around 50, but with the 80 degree plus days they turn on later in the day.

    Good Fishing,

Been tying for several months. The killer color for me so far this Spring has been an Orange/Chartruce tail with unpainted jig head. Jigs are staying together so your instructions and tape sunk in to this thick head. Come go fishing when you aren't working.
