    Default Seat Frames

Anyone have experience using the Tempress seat frame? If so, how did you like them? Were they stable? Safe? I just purhcased an Alumacraft 1648 no center seat jon boat and was thinking of using these when one or two others are fishing with me.

I haven't used those, but used to put people in folding chairs when I first
got my boat - it is a "no center seat" jon too. Got seat bases everywhere
now, 8 to be exact, and they're still never in the right place
If I had it to do over, I think I'd go with something like you're looking at.
Did "goose" it to pick the bow up over a big wake one time and flipped
Dad out of a folding chair though, he didn't appreciate it :D

Thanks JWhite. That's what I'm concerned about...flipping someone. Most of the water I fish is pretty tame, though I do like to get to where I'm going when in the Arkansas River or a larger lake. Motor is 25 hp but it will get up and go. I'm thinking of installing handles on each side of the boat to a person something to hold on to and make sure to avoid "goosing" it like you said.

    Many thanks.

Those seat frames are some of the best on the market. I just got the double seat frame for my new boat. Sure beats cutting holes in the floor to mount bases.

Sac - here's link for basspro. The single is around $69 each. Not sure about the double.

They are Wally Marshall's. They come with the double spider rigging set up.
This only my opinion, but nothing you can say will change my mind. That makes it a FACT.

There is another company that makes these for 41$ and I can't remember who. Does anyone know who it is.
