Default Best way to make a worm bed/farm

I want to make a worm bed using red wrigglers. I'm not wanting a huge farm and was thinking of using like a Rubbermaid container and was wondering about using a clear one or a dark one?

Where is a could place to buy red wrigglers in bulk?

    This is available from Cabela's.

    Magic Worm Ranch Kit

I'm planning on getting one once I get a refrigerator for my work shop. Cabela's also carries worms in bulk. Worms

Use a dark one - the worms don't like the light. Here is where I bought my worms, good people:

I used a half and half mixture of pre-soaked peat moss and cow manure for the mix. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Raised them for years in a small old deep freeze and an igloo cooler. Mostly composted leaves and cow manure. Would definitely go with Tracker123's recomendation on the worm purchase.

Would red wigglers or night crawlers be best.
