    Does anyone know if there are otters in the Harris Chain of Lakes, specifically Lake Griffin. My fish basket was "robbed" last night of 15 nice crappie I was going to clean this morning. I figured a turtle, but someone suggested it may have been an otter. Guess I thought the gators would keep the otters out, but maybe not.

    Don't know about Griffen, but there are a good number in Little and big Harris.

    I have seen a few otters in the Clermont Chain and a couple other lakes in Lake Co., so could be in Griffin as well. Are ya sure it wasnt a person robbing you?
