    Default April fooled on Truman


    Staying with some friends around Warsaw and planning to snag and crappie fish tomorrow and Sunday. We got to put in at long shoal this evening and fished a few hrs before dark, couldn't figure out the pattern. Called buckwheat to see what I was doing wrong and he got me straightened out. Think we were fishing under em, moved up to fishing 6-8 ft deep and 14-18 ft on black and pink. Kind of a slow bite, only put 7 in the boat before dark, so we know where to start tomorrow I guess. Might hafta run up toward bucksaw where I'm in more familiar territory, hope to see y'all on the water, will post if we do a little better tomorrow

    Any day on the water is a gooden in my book. It's always tough fishing in unfamiliar waters. Bet today will better. Good luck.
