Four of us are making our annual journey down to Buchanan Resort from central Illinois, April 6-9th. This is our 4th yr. coming to this specific area. Had moderate success fishing the area basically fished all over the creek area producing a few on the points, few from the channel, some off the beds , afternoons spent fishing the old bridge pilings etc..
Wondering if anyone has some specific ideas that could improve upon our fishing success? We love the area, the accomodations and the hog crappie that KY Lake can produce. Looking to increase our chances of fishing success by tapping into anyones local knowledge in the creek area or in the surrounding main lake area.
Thanks for sharing your fishing knowledge. Would be happy to retun the favor if your in my neck of the woods fishing; Decatur, IL fishing Lake Shelbyville, Lake Clinton, Lake Sanchris or Lake Decatur.
