need help with old outboard

I started to sell my old aluminum boat (cuddy cabin) and found out the 1970 something Johnson 40hp won't start. Ran fine a couple of years ago. I am pretty sure it is the points but I am not that good a mechanic myself. I cant find anyone who works on that old of an engine. Does anyone know of someone who will work on this engine?
