I use the juiced up bait they have it in spray or gel and they also make one that you can squirt in the tubes. I really like the gel!! Here is a link to their web page.Home

I have seen days where the guy using scent is the one catching the fish!! Other days, doesn't seem to matter.

i take a crappie nibble and smear a bit of it behind the jigs head(by the collar, in front of the plastic). one nibble will go a long way and it stays on for a couple fish that way too. IMO a good sent can only help!

Last month I went to our state park at daylight thinking I would beat the front that was coming in. The wind had changed and starting blowing out of the north. I had been catching crappie at culvert in 8' of water. Well the Crappie were there but they would not take my jig ,just bump it . I had some shad yumm spray. I sprayed it on the jig and caught 10 nice crappie in short order. I can tell you it made the difference. A lady that was fishing there in the same place did not get a bite untill I spayed th juice on her jig andf she started catching crappie. It mad a believer out of me. At times it makes a real difference.
