Might be good for catfish.......
I'm getting ready to trim my yorkshire terrier and was wondering if anyone use the hair . It is long and course. Some what hollow?? Silver and black and tan. He's a europe type yorkie that means he's bigger than what you see these 5 pounders. He's about 12 pounds???

It would be an interesting idea. Might start a new trend. You never know. By the way I think you would get more replies if you posted this in the jig making forum

** The wooleyboober man has a great pereinese (big white dog). He made some jigs with the dogs hair and they did catch fish. I think he may have photo on his website of he and his wife that day using the jigs.
i cut a little off my american yorkie, just staring at it, thinking if i should use it.
i thought of that last time i brushed my dog. and i also thought of it last time i buzzed my hair off....that brings a whole new twist to things.
Wouldn't be the first time I've heard of it being used.

If your willing to pay a good bit per package you can buy some dog hair. It's called Temple Dog and I have just one pack of Orange that I wanted to try, but just have not yet. It does look really good, but it's not just any dog as there is a Temple Dog.
