Hello,

Went to Sangchris today...The wind was blowing so hard couldn't keep the boat in one spot....Only caught a few....But, we had a good time...If anyone wants give some helpful tips on fishing Sangchris?....I would appreciate it..

Points in 4-15 feet of water. 2inch yum beavertails. Had decent success, nothing like some of the posts seen here, but can confirm that the fish we've caught have been pigs.....ky lake sized pigs. Easily the largest crappies I've seen out of central illinois. Great lake to fish but I've had the same trouble on this body of water, wind and current. Seems like the weather really has to cooperate for this lake to produce. This is our 3 or 4th year fishing this lake and we've had the most amount of success this year. Lot's of from reading this web site. Good luck...use your electronics....look for the classic drops off points they exist and they produce.
