    Default 3-Pound Crappie Mount

This is about the most realistic, "true to original", "fresh out-of-the-water looking" crappie mount I have ever seen.

    Live fish

    Mount

    It was done by:

Here's a Stringer Mount of Lake Greeson fish he did for us:

We'll definitely be sending more work his way!

To me the live fish looks like a white and the mount looks like a black. But I'm easily confused and both are very fantastic looking though.

It was a hybrid so it has characteristics of both. I wish I had a picture of the same side. It was raining and pretty dark when I took the picture of the mount today. I'll get a better one with some sunshine (if we ever get any). I took one with the flash on and it didn't work at all - too shiny.

Yea, we don't see very many that nice for sure. Carlos Duggan (runs my second boat) caught that fish last spring on a Bamboo Crappie Condo I suggested he check while he was fishing a brush pile close by. At the time he didn't know that a guy fishing with me the day before caught one there that was nearly as big.

He does both Skin Mounts and Replicas. He and his wife fished with us this time last year, took all the fish back with them and he brought the mounts back this week when he came back to fish again. This time he brought seven of his friends along.

I think this one was 17-3/4" if I remember right. It was a little over a year ago so......................... Carlos probably remembers since he caught it.
