I know it's always a debate between mono or fluoro or braid but what brand does everyone use for crappie? I fish mostly walleye and am starting to get into crappie fishing. Any info is appreciated! Thanks

mono for crappie. braid has a special place in my heart for bass, but i use mono exclusively for crappie. 4 and 6 lb.

Daiwa Samurai Brand on everything....18lb (2.5lb Mono dia) on UL, 20lb (4lb dia) on Medium Bass/Walleye pole, and 55lb (10lb dia) on MH cranking/frog pole. Samurai is a 8-strand, that is rounder, thinner, stronger and softer than other braids!
