i caught this crappie on march1st of this year. i caught it in a retention pond that connects to other small lakes. ihave always caught fish 10" plus there. but never this size.a few days before there was still ice on the lake.i caught him on jig twister triple tail.caught seven fish in all but this one whoa!i swore it was a bass until he surfaced he had engulfed the jig. i did release the others but i sent him to the taxidermist. it is a crappie of a lifetime atleast for me anyway.

Great slab, no doubt! And don't ever think you just caught the biggest one you'll ever catch, but I agree it will always be a cherished moment with that fish!! Congrats! :D

it weighed 3lbs 5 ounces and was 17.5 inches long!

Nice fish But I have a friend who would of took a fillet knife to him faster then you can say Taxi..He alleyway's say's can't eat Styrofoam yah know
