    Default My personal best 32lbs

Since I am new here thought I would post a pic of my largest striper to date.

This one was caught almost 2 yrs ago on live blue back herring freelined behind the boat, caught him on med light spinning reel loaded with Power Pro line. Took a good 20 minutes to get him to the boat and I was leaning toward a reproduction mount but was solo and by the time I got measurements and pics he was pretty much dead. I tried to revive him and turn him back but he kept going belly up so now he is at taxidermist waiting to be mounted.. Hopefully will have him back soon

We catch quite a few over 20lbs but the next one to be mounted will have to exceed 40lbs which is very doable on our lakes around here in Upstate SC

Ya'll are killing me guys. I can;t wait for summer to get here and get on them when their schoolin. We'll have 2 or 3 acres of them explode the water surface at th4e same time.
