Official Tournament Rules

1. RULES: These rules will be interpreted solely by tournament committee and all decisions are final. Any questions should be brought to the attention of the Tournament Directors at the Pre-Tournament meeting.

2. Eligibility: Anyone is eligible. If you are under the age of 17, an adult must accompany you. One-person change, per entry is ok.

3. Entry Fee: $50 per team, up to three (3) people per team and one (1) boat to a team. Late entries $50.00 per team + $10.00 late fee per team accepted at launch ramp until 7:00 a.m. on tournament day. No shows cannot be refunded. $10.00 per team for biggest Crappie contest, optional.

4. Headquarter, Time and Date: Coffman Beach – Check in by 7:00 a.m. on Saturday April 16, 2011. Pre-Tournament meeting will begin at 7:00 a.m.

5. Take Off: Will be in the order in which they were drawn. In case of fog, tournament will not start until the fog has lifted and the buoys are seen from the ramp.

6. Safety and Sportsmanship: Safe boating and fishing practices must be observed. All federal, state and local fishing and boating laws will be followed. Life jackets recommended during take-off. Kill switches are recommended.

7. Tackle: Up to three (3) people per team per boat. Fish to be taken on rod and reel, with any legal bait and from a boat only. NO SHORE FISHING OR FROM ANY DOCK!!

8. Fish Limit: 10 crappie per team for weigh-in, including Big Crappie. Any team may retain a legal limit per boat for personal use.

9. Scoring: All fish weighed in must be alive. Any crappie under the minimum 9 inch length, presented for weigh-in will cause 1 pound to be subtracted from total weight. Biggest fish will break tie. In case tie still exist, entry number will prevail.

10. Boats may not be trailered to fish a different spot. Boats do not have to be trailered to weigh-in, but they have to be at Coffman Beach in the bouys by 3:00 p.m.
