    Default Mercury Outboard

I need some help... Does anyone know where I can get a 2005-ish Mercury 2-stroke 75HP in Florida, fairly new? Preferably southwest Florida? I need one in less than 2 weeks, and the clock is ticking... Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks...

hey tony. i just bought a 60hp 4 stroke, merc, and i love it. ill never own a 2 stroke motor again. my motor pushes my 18ft boat around 35 mph, depending on my load that day.

I have a pro 175 tracker also with a 60 HP 2 stroke. It does ok, but I would get a 75 if at all possible. I wish I had and now have started looking for a good 75. I also contacted the same website and they stated they would give me around 4,000 for my 60. That seems a little low since it only has about 12 hours on it. It's a 2005. Go with the 75 if you can.

You will enjoy the four stroke. I love my 60 Merc, I have it on a PT190. I would think a 60 on your PT175 would be plenty, but I am content with 35 mph. If you exceed you HP rating, not only does it void your insurance GW can give you a fine.
I'm actually quite surprised by the site I refered you to, they emailed me back right away.

I sent them an email about a 90hp merc and received an email back that evening (after 6pm). Maybe for some reason the email you sent didn't make it through.
