    Default Eagle Fishmark 320?

What is the best setup for the settings? I fish in anywhere between 1 foot to 25 foot of water. The lake(Guntersville) has alot of grass in it. Thanks

You've got a good sonar, but if you've just gotten it, try to make yourself not rely on the "automatic" setup. (In other words, train yourself to use the "arches" instead of the fish symbols.......it's a whole lot more accurate). EagleSonar.com has a downloadable trainer that you can use at your PC to get comfortable with the features. It'll all make sense after you use this trainer several times.

Set the depth on Auto. depth
Set the sensitivity on 90 %
Set the grayline on 75 %
It will now be setup to show arches.

Is there a reason that the arches would be more accurate than the fish symbols? I don't mean to sound dumb but I am needing to upgrade soon.
    Thanks

Yes, the graph cannot differentiate between air bubbles, a stick, turtle or anything else so they show up as a fish with fish ID on.
The best way I've found is turn off all filters and automatic programs then use your sensitivity to define what you see and what you don't. This is particularly handy with color units for seeing fish in structure.
You'll get the hang of it after you've used the thing a while.

Definitely go to the web site and check out there tutorials and emulators.

I have a new 480 and sure would like to be able to use the emulator but I have a Mac and I guess we are the ugly step-sister.

    Default Eagle Fishmark 320

I too have an Eagle Fishmark 320 and really love it. However, at high speeds the depth will go crazy and show 800+ feet. I have to turn the power off and back on to reset it. The manual says to check the mounting of the transducer if this happens but I checked it and it seems to be aligned the way the manual shows. It is on the back of the hull and mounted where the bottom half of the transducer is below the bottom of the boat. Anyone have this problem? Any suggestions?
