Looks like a great day fishing. Can't wait till i get the honey doooo's done and get after them myself.
Was cold and real windy. Started just after daylight and quit before noon with 3 limits. We caught well over a 100 fish again. Started in one creek and to windy to spider rig when it was white capping. So we ran down about 6 miles and found a calmer spot and found the fish and some dandies in 5-11 fow down 4-8 ft. Here is a couple guys from work with thier best and me with a couple goodun's. We had 2 at 1 lb 10 oz and another at 1 lb 9 oz. Another dozen from 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 lbs. Well over 10 lbs on 7 fish. Back will hurt tonight but sure was fun. Talked to Bigby and seen Buckwheat's boat from a distance. He needs to stick around in one spot a little longer before taking off. I guess he was on a milk run. One tree here and one tree there pattern. Bigby needed 3 for his limit when we seen him on our way in and I think he said Buckwheat had his limit already. If you are not spider rigging right now you are missing out on some great shallow water fishing right now.
