    does anyone know if the dam is closed and filling up the lake yet, and what is the water level?

    reel-um-in, the gate is open just at 1/4 way.... I walkked the lake bed just a few days ago and we need the rain... Crappies are hitting on minnows in the river channel... My DNR friends state water should raise in just a few weeks. Please note on April 22 Crappie USA will be in the area... May your fishing dreams come true and look at the Salamonie tree placement thread.
