Default Headed to truman for the 1st time on sat

Im headed to truman for the first time on sat with my six year old son and my fatherinlaw. Were planing on putting in at bucksaw, and would like to get on some slabs. I grew up fishing LOZ, and fishing docks and crappie beds. From what ive read the past couple of days truman is a whole different ball game. I would appreciate any advice anyone would like to give, as far as color choice and jig style and what depths are currently producing fish. I was able to take the fam out on Pleasant Hill lake on tuesday and caught a few 6 to 10 ft deep in 10 to 15 fow. Thanks ahead of time for any info and also thanks for all the previous post, they have helped already.

I have fished 5 different creeks in the past 5 trips and had at least 60 every day single pole double jig in the 5 different creeks, all out of bucksaw......

Anything helps i do appreciate it!! i just know its the little things that can make all the difference. I can remember fishing all day off the dock as a kid and only catching a few, than some guy in a boat would come by and catch 10 keepers in five minutes just cause he had a different color or approach. thanks again
