Walleye running up Catawba

Heard today from very reliable source that some Walleye have been caught at and above the Marion airport on the Catawba. They were fishing at night. Don't know what they were using,but will try to find out. Good luck.

When will the boat ramps at Lake James be open? Do you know logs?

I thought with these last rains we had the lake would come up enough to open the ramps, but Duke Power satrted pulling the lake so it never got high enough. The Duke website said the last of March they would begin to let the lake fill up, that they would have that part of their work done on the intake. Maybe they will let it fill up some soon it wouldn't take but a couple more feet and the lake would be up on the ramps to where you could get in. Hope this helps and good fishing.
