Logan Martin, AL -Sun 3/13 A little help beating my buddies?

Tomorrow morning my buddy and his buddy are putting in at Cropwell, AL (Town and Country) to try and blow my socks off on bass. I'll be relegated to a touring kayak since my Mercury 150 broke down last Fall. They've been trying to catch up to me all last year but now think they have a "boat-advantage." I'd like to let them fish ahead while I switch to crappie and surprise them with a stringer full. Will have to fish jigs since a bucket of minnows poses kayak challenges.

Would appreciate very much any tips within 2-3 miles of Town and Country launch on Logan Martin, AL. Have GPS if you have locations or even hints appreciated very much.
