Happiness is a cooler full of Crappie

A couple ready for the knife

One cool one later and a pile of filets

Got a chance to go today, water temps have climbed to 58.5° and they have moved
into shallow water around timber and stumps. I used minnows and caught 24!!!

Outstanding. Did you fly a Blackhawk? I got a buddy that has flown one since the late 70's and is about to retire.

Miss training with and hunting them, the Apache guys were good, but NOTHING was as nimble or daring as the "little birds" the "Night Stalkers" flew, those maniacs were simply NUTS, saw a group at Fort Cambell flying along side a road under power wires, weaving in and out of the poles, DEADLY opponents with the "whisper" rotors...THANK GOD they`re on OUR side!
