West Point Lake 03/05/2011 Results

Weather was not all that good but we did have another great tournament at West Point Lake.

• 140 crappie were weighed in by 21 teams with an total weight of 171.43 lbs and an average weight of 1.22 lbs!
• The top 5 teams all had over 9.25 lbs. The top 5 big fish entries were all 1.87 lbs + and 4 over 2.07 lbs.
• Spider rigging produced better fish than trolling. The larger crappie had pulled back of the banks and shallow flats. Middle of the creeks and deeper structure was holding the better size fish.
• Water temps ranged from upper 50's to low 60's all over the lake.
