    Default Slab Busters

Maybe I'm a little late to the party on the Slab Busters, but i was wondering if anyone has tried them. I've been going down to Mark Twain Lake for the past few years on the first week of May. The fishing hasn't been great. I've tried minnows and plastics. I've had the best luck with the plastic Slurpies in the past few years, but still very slow. Are the Slab Busters the same as any other ole tube jig, or are they better.

They are better then the average. I've been using slab busters for the last several years. They are a great bait, with a great scent. Slab Buster Crappie Jigs and Lures If they aren't available in your area, give Jack a call. Super nice guy, great bait.

slab busters are a very good bait. if you are going to mark twain just thought i'd tell you that chigger hill bait and tackle were selling them for 1.89 a pack last summer which is a good price.

I have much better success in my area on plain southern pro tube jigs, but as it has been repeated many times, it depends a lot on the area and the confidence you have in what you are fishing.
