    Default hair jig for late summer crappie


    anyone have success catch a crappies on hair jigs in late summer like in august, septmber ?
    i do have success catch hundreds of crappies use hair jigs that use for cold water..

    i love walk down and knock people door and ask permission to get on their docks and i have had many docks to get on and fishi for crappies for last 3 year and keep going on

    anyone have done before ??

    I like a marabou or hackle jig for warm water. Ditto on the hair jigs in cold water.

    i use hackle strung and flashbou, i favor color for late summer is white/gray or orange/gray, they are just as baitfish color..

    I like them but not as heavy haired as the winter ones (thinner hair not thick).
