    Default Boat Value?

I have a 89' Lowe 161 aluminum boat with a 25hp Evinrude. I just bought a new boat and need to know about what price to ask for my old one. What do you guys think its worth?

Have ya tried looking around in boat trader in your area to see what similar is selling for. Nice looking rig though, even nicer one in the background. Congrats on the new rig.

It should fetch close to 2500, anyway. Looks pretty clean.

You could look it up in Nada.com but they are notoriously low. Best bet is to do like huntinslab said and see what rigs like that are going for in your area.

That's a good lookin boat. Stick at 3K. What else can you buy nowadays that can give someone that much enjoyment for so little money.

That is a good looking boat and should bring top dollar for the year. I would be asking closer to 3000. There is a lot of junk boats out there and someone looking for a good reliable rig will be willing to pay a fair price. For NC, SC prices I think you will find a buyer very quickly.

It was 5K in 1989, so 3000 20yrs later seems like a lot IMO. NADA says 1100, which could be low, but not 3X low. Guessing it's going to be a first boat for someone, give them a deal and feel good about it.
