Dem KS walleye boys seem a little tight lipped! I can tell you one thing, If you go to lake OHAE in June you can fill the live wells, I personally like the ND Side due to no slot limit on the bigguns, and limit of 5 instead of 4. And about 1/3 of the price to fish SD.

That prespawn bite is when the trophys are taken. Find dark bottoms, preferably shale or hard clay, them big sals are there incubating their eggs in the heat of the day. They are itching to go shallow, if the original river channel goes through the dam look on the northern bank for starters. If the COE's are letting out water through the gates, they'll feed there also. They will suspend just off the top of the channel and your graph will pick them up. If the oxbows form sharp corners adjacent to slow tapering points these are excellent spots also. Wallys and saugys get "stuck" in corners, it makes them cross-eyed and they're lost. The eyes love to sunbath in cold water, outlets can be golden this time of year.
All lakes raise a foot when I step in the boat
