Default 75 degrees and no crappie but....

the bass bite turned out to be decent.

went out to a local lake today and had some decent luck on soft plastics. Working them really slow on the bottom. Basically just very slowing reeling them in. No twitches or jigging at all. Seemed to be the pattern they wanted to see.

Biggest was 6.1 lbs - 21.5 inches long, 16 inches around. Returned her to spawn future hawgs for me in the years to come.

actually fish mozingo a lot, tuesday was up there but there was still a solid sheet of ice out. So hit up Nodaway instead. Didn't catch any fish...unless you count 10 foul hooked shad.
