    Default What is the difference between spider rigging and power trolling?


    The title is what I searched on and went through 5 pages of posts without finding one that compared the two.

    I'd read a brief article last spring (somewhere) about PT and it appeared that baits were being pushed as with SR.

    Is the difference, just running faster while PT'ing and using heavier weights to keep the baits deeper while doing so? Thx, ET

    Power Trolling is heavier weights and moving faster. Better suited to warm water when the fish are active and for when you need to cover a lot of water.
