Default stockton close to a limit

I would like to start off saying Thank you to the person who a few months ago started a thread on stuff to do while fishing, or things to have in your boat, one of the suggestions was a spare vehicle key in the boat, thank you, thank you, thank you.....

Now crappie were 12 ft deep in 20 ft of water, a little windy early, well I got to the lake at Noon. sun came out wind started to relax, and so did I. toss out the jig let it fall, sometimes it would stop, other times go to the bottom then slow reel and twitch, and bam, big strike, no piddle strikes today.

slabbuster blue/silver or white/silver was the crappies choice of the day. not one fisherman in the roark bluff parking lot, and not one fisherman at state park. One boat when I came back through at 3 pm. fished a couple of gators brush piles, one of buzzys, one of benders, and three of mine, all produced. were a real nice day on the water.

now up early in the morning and meet the dog buyer. see if he wants any of my dogs, need to cut down before summer. now supper, nap, then shower and to bed early.

    good night all.

good job beagle! Turned out to be a nicer day than they were predicting (at least up here where I am). Sounds like you had your own private lake..... can't beat that. Congrats.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
