    Default fishing standing timber in oconee..


    eight years ago me and a dear friend of mine put in at sugarcreek landing..went up a ways on the left...went in the timber a little...put out lanterns over the side...and spent all nite..fishing minnows...only went twice ...and caught lots of nice ones...unfortunatley he died in an automobile wreck 6 yrs ago..since i have tried it twice with no luck...would someone please help my wife and i ...improve our luck...when to get in timber..what depth of water..when...plan on going second week of march,...thanks to all...

    If you can get out during the day the fishing is pretty good right now at Oconee. Shouldnt have a problem finding the fish at all just follow the rest of the boats, most of the guys will help you out also. Cant help you much on night fishing, good luck
