Default Need suggestions for a new spinning reel

I just purchased a new St. Criox Eyecon 7' model ECS70LF rod that I plan on using mostly for Crappie fishing, but will also use for Walleye.
Any body have any suggestions on a good reel for this rod?
Also I am new to this forum. My name is Ron.
Most of my crappie fishing is done in the backwaters of the Mississippi pool 13 and 14

Shimano Stella. But be sure to be sitting down when you look at the price.

Pflueger President is a good reel, with lots of ball bearings for $50 to $60. I like mine. Lots of good ones out there.

I own 10 pfluegers,, and love each and everyone of them, Wallwy, crappie, white bass, goggle eye, eaven landed a 18 lb flat head couple years ago, good reel. Although I think a good rod choice is more important that a reel, the rod does 90 percent of the work, the reel 8 and the man 2. good luck on your choice.

A Shimano in the $50 to $60 range will serve you well for as many years as you take care of it.

I like the Pflueger President w/ 10 ball bearings. I have 4 of the size 30 series. I did buy a Plueger Trion GX size 35 and a Trion GXsize 30 a couple of weeks ago. The Trion is a little less expensive. The Trion has 7 ball bearings. All of them have the instant anti-reverse which is nice.
