    Default New in LA

I was fishing for a while from shore on Castaic lake for stripe bass .
I was told the lower lake has some small population of crappie but they are very small size , any body tried upper lake to fish crappie i would be surprise if such a beautiful big lake as a Castaic i am talking about upper lake for some reason has NONE.
Thank you for your time and if any body from South California do not mind to share some information about crappies lakes in LA area i would really appreciate it .
Just moved to LA lust year from different country and people i know have nothing to do with fishing unfortunately......
    Thank you again....

Man is there any chance he might need a fishing partner i would love to cheep in for any expenses he might have . would love to learn and some times people do not want to go alone especially now when the gas prises and every thing not so cheep. I am not a huge fan of bass fishing , but crappie trout big cat fish i would love to, but if you think this is not appropriate question i apologizes, and thank you very much for your time .
