What method of fishing do you use the most...??

Casting, trolling, verticle jiggin, float and fly, spider riggin, bottom bouncing..etc....??

Let us know if you have a preferred tactic...I'm sure someone will help...

Around here we pull up to brush pile and drop a minnow over board, but up there you dont have the visible brush pile. We'll probably trolle and float fish with jigs and minnows and "try to find brush or attracters" . Unless you may have any other helpful hints?

Any of the tactics that you just mentioned should work....

If you use a depth finder..find the brush..

If you don't have a DF..you can still find fish by drifting with jigs or minnows...

Ask someone (at the bait store, or a nearby fisherman) what the water temp is....

Use the water temp and the info here to find where to start looking for crappie...
    http://www.crappie.com/crappie/archi...e-degrees.html

When you catch a fish drifting..throw out a marker buoy and slowly make circles around it..trying different baits and depths ...

That fish you just caught was probably relating to brush somewhere close by..meaning there may be more fish .....
