Dang dude, you can't find a place in a 2272? :D Just messin with ya. You might put some rod saver straps somewhere in it, or just tie them all together and lay them in the bottom of the boat?

My longs poles are held down with rod saver straps kinda suspended from the front deck to the back deck (along the gunnels)...

Check out http://www.cumberlandcrappie.com He makes some awesome rod storage racks.
I just installed mine last weekend. He custom made mine in an " F " shape so I could mount them on the rail of my boat and nothing over hangs the edge of my boat that way.
I can store 8 rods at a time on it. It also removes very easy with thumb screws so I can take the entire rack off with the rods still on it.
I hope to get my boat out Sunday for the first time this year so then I can get some pictures.

I't would be great to see pictures of your cumberland crappie set-up Tom. I am curious how high the thing is...and if it gets in your way while fishing or just getting in and out of the boat. I often run 8 trollers from 8' to 16 ', and manage to put them together when I arrive at the ramp, then just lay them down the inside edge of my 17' boat...but slightly awkward. Always break mine down while towing as I am usually towing with a tarp on.
