Contact some local tackle shops and tell them you're looking for repair work.
i have a full time job, but i've been considering doing some fishing rod and reel repair on the side for some extra cash. i have custom built a couple of my own rods, but not for a customer. i'm thinking i'd just like to get into the repair aspect of things just for tinkering around. anybody have any suggestions on how to get started on such a venture?
Remember, I'm pulling for ya, we're all in this together!

Be prepared to stay busy if you get them done in a timely manner and your cost is good.
Good luck..
