Douglas Lake Fishing Trip Report...

...went yesterday (bright sunshine, temps in the mid-70s)...found 'em stacked up beneath floating timber 'way up in a little hollow...white/black crappie 7-12 feet deep, beneath a slew of small bream gathered in the timber tops...caught the limit in about 2 hours...females had some egg development, but I believe the full-blown spawn is still days away...good luck to ya'll...

Could you give me some directions to douglas lake? I'm from Madisonville. I can come from I75 South of I40 east which ever is easiest.

Out of Madisonville - take 411 to Sevierville ... Douglas Lake is between 411 and I40 and North East of Sevierville.
Go to www.mapquest.com and ask for a "map" of Sevierville ... when the map window comes on screen - Douglas Lake will be in the top right hand corner of the map, and all the surrounding roads will be shown.
