Nice report Miss Pat
We tried to fish Saturday in the wind and rain and cold and I called it quits about 2 hours from the time we got started. Went Sunday and each caught our limit!!! We caught quite a few shorts and HE got more than his share of 12" fish. My limit was 10's and 11's and a couple that were almost 12". He not only caught the first fish but the bigger fish! The water temp was 40 degrees and the wind was about 40 mph but was great to get out and catch 'em again. :D Most of them were just "heavy" on the line but most of the smaller fish really hit hard!
We caught most of ours in 25-30' of water about 15-20' down. Both wound up using black/chartreuse.
Kept enough for a meal! Hands Clapping

Now you've done it................. I can't take this ANYMORE!
Good job by the way and congrats on the limits
U
Thanks, Fuzzy....... I don't think we've EVER both gotten our limit the first time out. We tossed back anything that wasn't a ten incher and yes I measured them with a golden rule TRYING to stretch mine! Heck I rarely ever get a limit of tens or bigger no matter what! That's why Mrs. JJ is MY HERO!!
great day CN, congrats.
atta girl Pat, off to a roaring start
Great job there Pat, hope you smoked Mr. CN!!
Monk
Good Job CN. Sounds like a good start
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
A roaring start scares me, Kaz .... LOL I guess it's only downhill from there! No, Monk..... he caught the first fish and the biggest fish HANDS DOWN and more of the big ones, too! But that's ok. I caught the numbers and we all know that size doesn't matter!!! Thumbs Up
Nicely done! Settin the bar kinda high for the first time out, should be a good season. Good stuff, can't wait till we get out and feel the thump; been way too long. Thanks for sharing. By the way, where did you fish, Truman?
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
