    Default north end of smithville

Was gone all weekend,so I had to swing by to check it out after dropping the kids off to school.
Little platte river was devoid of any ice all the way up to the free ramp, but its godawful low on water..tough time launching anything but a canoe!

I’m surprised there’s any water at all up there. With all the silt in the river can you leave your garden hose running this spring so I can get my boat over the flat????

As soon as I saw the title of this thread, I was wondering about that bridge. Thanks for the updates Cook & Dave .. might have to try it out soon. Even if they're not biting, I need to wet a line!
