    Be curious to here your opinions on why the fish went shallow this weekend?

    two degres of water warming, moved the shad arround, fish followed, white bass headed up stream chasing shad, shad move shallow,fish follow, sun is higher in the sky,shad move up fish follow, see my point, it is all about the sun and shad. my honest opinion

    well put Beagle,I've caught fish on a south-facing bank in the afternoon after the sun has been on it all day that you would swear were spawning cause they would be right up on the bank.Done this more than once and it starts often in Feb.after a few days of warm weather.

    I would agree with Beagle the shad moved to the warmest water they could find and the crappie followed. I know the crappie I cleaned Saturday were full of shad.

    My thoughts are that the fish were thinking that all the fisherman would be fishing deep and it would be safe to hang out in the shallow water.

    hey beagle does that crown any thing to with the fish moving.i have a terrace between the horse barn and the house and it moves the terrace sometimes,can't understand it.
