That looks like a keeper to me too. Nothing wrong with those.
Yesterday was my first time on the water this year. Actually, that's not true. I've been hunting but yesterday was the first time I loaded rods in my boat instead of a shotgun. It has been warming up the last week in north Florida and the redbuds and Japanese magnolia trees are starting to bloom. I was bass fishing but another boat within a couple hundred yards was fishing minnows for specks. It seemed like every other time I looked over I saw them scoop another one up in the net. I was bass fishing but in the process caught a pair of specks that couldn't resist the 4" rapala. Before releasing it I took a picture of the first one. Ours aren't huge like what some people catch and for me this one would be a keeper.

That one gets released to the grease in Iowa
I caught seven more yesterday afternoon, again on a 4" rapala x-rap while bass fishing. I think the next time I go to the lake I will take a couple of ultralight rods. I can start with a #3 or #5 countdown rapala until I find them and then switch to a jig and really start catching some.
Beautiful fish.

I think that's a keeper just about anywhere, sure has some good color to it too. I bet a road runner would help ya catch more, but it looks like your doin just fine with what your doin.
