    Wow...Aaron Martens is leading after day one with 5 fish going over 20#. He also had big fish with a 5.9

    He better watch out,KVD is right on his heels:D

    I think the best decision the top 3 made was to make the 15 min. boat ride to Catawatchie (sp)and not fight the 2 hour plus ride to Venice in the fog.....I love that lake but only fished it 4 times...caught some big bass there.....I think KVD is right where he wants to be...shoot...I caught a 6# bass Thursday on a white chatterbait.....it was a hog...12 sacs also...

    While out checking out my water pump repair this afternoon near Houma, I saw a high flying bass boat come around the corner with the hammer down heading in the direction of New Orleans. I don't know for sure if it was one of the pros, but his boat was covered with "EverStart" battery decals.
