Question Need dual spider rig rod holders

I have a little 153 TideCraft Crappie Special. I have tried the clamp on rod holders that have a thumb screw to hold it on the boat. No matter how much U tighten them they get loose. I will have to mount the rod holders on the top rail of the boat. My boat does not have a front deck. The seat pedestal is mounted in the bottom of the boat. The rod holders will have to be fairly short in height. Any suggestions. I looked at the Cumberland site on here. I will have to mount one on one side and one on the other side of the boat.

Cabelas or BassPro....titelock systems. Work great and very reasonable.

I have a pair of short risers for a hi-tek setup that I was gonna modify for the boat. They came out of an aluminum boat and fit a track that went like you described. I'll shoot a few pics and post em tomorrow. I have many hi-tek rod holders and can't say enough good about them. Best there is, CDC member, and great service.

Hi-Tek and Tite-Loc both have a plate to mount the rod holders, but the Hi-Tek's have a narrower one . Also Hi-Tek will make the risers any length you want them. You can also get 2 3 or 4 rod holders on them

Driftmaster makes rod holder clamps for round rails that will hold. I guide and have used them for years. You can see them and buy them at Extreme Fishing Concepts or give us a call if you have questions.
