    Default stockton no ice but

the fish were biting, got to the lake about 10, slow trolled arround looking for fish, found some, but they would not bite, saw a couple boats fishing in shallow water so went over and said hey, hey back said them, they was catching crappie in 12 ft of water, so I ask If I could join them and they said yes, well the rest is history as they say, ended up with 15 real nice crappie and two white bass, fish were 12 to 5 ft deep and hitting on the drop or slow retreve back, some smacked it some did not. some just ticked ticked, and dropped it. it was a good day. been about 6 weeks.

Way to go Beagle. Glad to see ya got out.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Way to go Beagle. Glad you got yourself a fresh mess of fish to eat. I would not eat any of them fish in the sink but I know some guys that say they would eat a white bass out of cold water over crappie. I will still have a big mac on the way home from the lake and send all the fish swimming for someone else to catch later. Need some good reports from Truman now.
