I’m looking for recommendations for a Crappie rod. I fish small watersheds and like to cast 1/32nd and 1/64th ounce jigs on two pound test line. I presently am using a B'n'M Crappie Wizard 7½’ rod. I love the way it casts and handles fish, but I am on my way to a third tip. The first one had a crack in one of the ceramic guides and the company was really nice and sent me a replacement (I bought the rod direct since, no shop around me carried them). The second, which is still in service after repair, broke just above the last guide when I set the hook on a bass. I will replace this tip when I can get to Grizzly Jig in MO. I am hoping to find something a bit more robust but will still handle the light line and jigs. Anyone have a suggestion in the moderate price range ($30-$50)?

Old enough to know better and way too old to care!
Check Troutlet. I bought a 7' Daiwa Spinmatic from them last year -- works fine for light line and small jigs.
