Default Add some color to your plastic minnows

People, I have to tell you that I have been playing with this concept for a few months now to add perch striping and flared gills and fins to plastic minnows. I loved the concept but nothing worked as I wanted it to. I tried paint ...but it eventually washed off. I tried permanent markers...but they smudged. I tried Spike it...but after four days it bled all in to the plastic. Finally Snake River came up with the perfect solution. Use the finest point Sharpie available. Well....no more smudges...no more bleeding into the plastic...no more drips......no more rubbing off..........and it looks great!
    Try this for yourself.:D

they look fantastic ship I'm glad that you are enjoying making your plastic baits pretty we got to go out this afternoon to get my commercial oven set up for carrying powder paint jig heads also molds. This is a regular size I'm able to put over 1000 heads in this oven.

They turned out real nice. Where I fish on the ohio river we would use alot of 3 inch shad bodies with a paddle tail and I seen some fellows carry a sharpie and they would fill in the top or the backs of the plastics. Now seeing you doing it also I may give it a shot to see if I could find a custom color the white bass would like. Thanks for the pics ship.

You are welcome. I imagine this would be deadly on Lake Erie for those Jumbo Perch or in Sandusky when the White Bass are running.

Went fishing last night for a brief period and caught 11 nice ones on the 1.5" plastic minnows.

Sharpies work good for jig eyes and spoons too.
All lakes raise a foot when I step in the boat
