Mr. Paty's Electronics DVD

I received the demo version of Mr. Paty's Electronics DVD in the mail yesterday and watched it last night, very good stuff!
I use Lowrance units, a I have an HDS-7 on the console, HDS-5 on the front, and a couple of weeks ago purchased the Structure Scan and linked the two units with an ethernet cable. A lot of the information covered reiterated what I thought I was seeing on my units. I can't wait till the full version is available!

I received the DVD today and just finished watching it. Lots of great info for using Depth Finders and understanding what you are seeing on your screen. For the ones that have the side scans or plan on buying one in the future, when this DVD is released it's one you need to see.

Another excellant video and very informative Earnest. I would like to get it in a DVD and be able to play it on my big screen TV and I think I would get a lot more out of it. Any one that is interested in up grading their electronics should see this video first, to see just what their units can really do. Another very nice products that will help anyone understand what their electronics can really do. EB

Sure enjoyed the video Ernest sent me. Can't wait to see the full length version when it comes out. I'll understand my sonar readings better now and I'm sure it's gonna help me catch more fish. Just goes to show if you wanna learn something, listen to an expert.

I was wondering will this DVD help me understand what I am seeing on 2D sonar or is it pretty much showing the new down and side imaging. Does anybody know of a better one (possibly from a few years back before the new side imaging etc) that would explain and help with regular color 2D sonar.
