I went down to my dock this evening and the back of coves are still frozen over. If you are able to get out on the main lake, there are big chunks of ice floating everywhere on the channel. I live on the 17mm of the Osage.
Just wondering if theres any chance of gettin out on the lake tomorrow? Anybody got any info?

Thanks tt. I'm not sure how to go about gettin on the lake... Thinkin about backing the trailer onto the ice and then cut a hole around the trailer with the chainsaw.

A friend told me he drove to Larry r. gale today and it was open. He said You could get a boat in.
Larry gale did look open and toward pb2 was trying to open yesterday morning so hopefully it will be open today, the fish are in a biting mood we hit a big dock and had to break holes through 3" of ice but we caught limits of nice fish, the dock was about 1/2 way back in a cove and with the warmth and wind yesterday it was melting around it pretty quick.

I would say so the main lake looked clear but watch out for big chunks floating around.
Went to Larry Gale this afternoon and it's froze as far as you could see, wasted trip.unless there is another acess by the same name I would wait a few days.
Drove to pb2 cuz someone said was open. Well it's open all the way to the water patrol dock and then solid ice. Said screw it and drove home. Should drove to Larry Gale I guess. Rear end in truck was whining real bad so I just limped on back to Columbia. Few more days lime today and it's gonna be game on all over the place.
